The Story Behind the Studio
I discovered fountain and dip pens before I ever knew the word calligraphy, and I was drawn first to the quiet beauty of the tools themselves. When I later encountered calligraphy, it was the structured elegance of letterforms that held my attention.
From there, I practiced casually at first, gradually becoming immersed in the wider world of letterforms, inks, and the endless possibilities of visual expression on the page.
In 2023, I committed more seriously to my practice. I joined IAMPETH and began a more focused study of traditional calligraphy. Since then, my work—and my appreciation for the craft—has continued to deepen.
